Within the framework of the Musician’s Day to be celebrated this November 22, being the day of its patron Saint Cecilia, this Wednesday the 7th, the meeting of artists, artisans and musicians was held at the Municipal Library “Carmen Sánchez de Jelambi” in order to prepare everything related to the celebration of your day.

Among the organizing structures are the Union of Radio, Cinema, Theater and TV Workers, the “Learning to Live Better” Foundation, the School of Leadership and Values ​​in Action (ELVA), and the Fraternity of Trujillanos Artists.

Williams Medina, from the Radio Union, informed those present of some efforts already made, among them, the request for a special session in Plaza Bolívar in the Valera municipality, with the keynote speaker being the music teacher Eloísa Abreu and the Thanksgiving mass will be given at 7am. on the 22nd, at the San Juan Bautista Church.

By mutual agreement in this first meeting of the musician’s day it was agreed that the honorees would be: Eloísa Abreu, Héctor Suárez, José Quintero, known in the musical world as Canita, Fernando Mendoza and José Monagas.

For his part, Alfredo Matheus, coordinator of the “Learning to Live Better” Foundation, announced that this event will be called “A song for Franco Acosta”, who in life was a humble and simple person, leaving a beautiful sentimental mark on the Trujillo lands where he was planted. The moderator of the entire artistic event with the performance of more than 15 musicians will be the announcer Silene Batista.
