They offer fruit and vegetable products without intermediaries at Family Agriculture Fairs

Asunción, IP Agency.- These fairs take place this Monday – without intermediaries – on the esplanades of the Medalla Milagrosa Church, at km 7 of the Mariscal Estigarribia Route, in Fernando de la Mora and Canal Trece/Unical, Nicolás Bo street, Lambaré, from 07:00 until stock lasts.

Minister Carlos Giménez, head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, participates in the opening of the Family Agriculture Fair, who promotes this activity in order to promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country.

200 producers and 30 organizations from Central, Paraguarí and Caaguazú are participating, assisted by the Agricultural Extension and Marketing directorates of the MAG, with support from the Binational Entity Itaipú and UNOPS in Paraguay.

The vendors offer fresh products and quality inputs at a fair price that include Paraguay cheese, pork, suckling pig, goat, sheep, homemade chicken and duck; plus homemade egg, corn and corn flour.

Likewise red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, habilla, peky beans, starch, tomatoes, peppers, cassava, sweet potatoes, greens in general, seasonal fruits, grains in general, variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
