They murdered in Cali the ‘El negrito del gusto’, a renowned dancer – Cali – Colombia

The artists’ guilds lamented and rejected the death of the dancerwho would have been attacked with a knife in a street robbery when he was on a tour of the rumba.

Since the followingnoon of Saturday, February 26, the alert had been given regarding the disappearance of Carlos Holmes Sinisterra because he didn’t come home.

A follow-up of authorities and relatives indicates that ‘El Negrito del gusto’ had crossed on the night of Friday the 25th and dawn on Saturday through a night establishment in the Industrial neighborhood – Los Mangos, northeast of Cali.

Also, it was known that he was in a dance hall in the Obrero neighborhood, in the center of the city. Sinisterra was recognized for his own style of dancing.

At that time on Saturday, a man, without identification documents, was taken to a health center, where he died hours later. The man had stab wounds to the chest and back.. According to the preliminary version, the attack was carried out by robbers who stripped him of even his identification documents.

The recognition of the victim was established in the morgue of the Institute of Legal Medicine.

The Municipal Secretary of Culture, headed by Ronald Mayorga, expressed her condolences and rejection for the murder of who was a caleña salsa artist.

Edwin Chica, director of the Tango Vivo school, expressed: “We extend a greeting of condolences to the family of our colleague and cultural manager Carlos Sinisterra and we deeply reject this act of violence that took the life of this great dancer.”

In January 2015, the dancer was missing for several days, but was located by his relatives. Colleagues will pay tribute to him.
