The activist, model and influencer, Elena Larrea, died on Wednesday, March 19 following suffering complications in her health. According to the information shared by her ‘Caucolandia’ collaborators through social networks, she presented a clot in a lung that unfortunately triggered a pulmonary thrombosis.
“From Cuacolandia, we are very sorry for your loss. We will remember and continue working for everything that was courageously promoted by this foundation. We will promote his legacy and love so that our cuacos, donkeys and mules live in freedom and in adequate conditions in Mexico and in this, our sanctuary for horses rescued from abuse and abandonment,” the statement reads.

As soon as the news broke, several internet users who defend animals and personalities from the national artistic community flooded social networks with messages of affection in memory of the influencer. Among these publications, she highlighted a video that one of her close friends published, as it is the last video that she recorded for her social networks.
It is a viral trend, whose objective is to expose everything from social archetypes to personal achievements. In this case, Elena Larrea highlighted her achievements as an animal defender:
“I’m Elena Larrea and whether you like it or not, my photos (from OnlyFans) have saved hundreds of horses. I am Elena Larrea and I fought with politicians until I left them without a job. I am Elena Larrea and of course everyone judges me for smelling like the most expensive perfume in the world (I always smell like horses). I am Elena Larrea and I have made people respect horses, but not because they care, but because they are afraid that they will I fall for them.”

Elena Larrea’s friend, identified as Esteban Villa Gómez, accompanied this video with some moving words in memory of the activist and, like many people, expressed his admiration for her.
“I will admire you for eternity. “Sometimes I can’t understand how volatile life can be, and especially with people whose sense of it is protection for others,” she began.
“I will miss each of your scoldings, your advice, your terrible and endless laughter, but before anything else: I will infinitely miss your friendship and your human warmth. I’ll stick with this little video that you never published, but that absolutely summarizes all your work on this earthly plane. I have no doubt that you fulfilled your goal as an activist and that your legacy will be eternal.”
