They know who I am.. Musimani talks about his meeting with Tuchel and Flick

Al-Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane confirmed his disappointment following his team lost to the Brazilian Palmeiras in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Mosimane indicated to South African radio station Metro FM, that he asked Mason Mount, Chelsea player, to get his shirt in order to gift it to his daughter.

“I am fortunate to have the technology because it helped us hold a Zoom meeting to analyze our competitors, and I was even more fortunate that my scan result turned negative just two hours before the Monterrey meeting,” Mosimane said.

He continued: “I was disappointed not to beat Palmeiras, but I understood very well why we lost once morest them, they spent a lot on their players, and I had a difficult challenge because there were no players.”

He added, “I had a mixed feeling, because we did not achieve a more advanced position than before in the Club World Cup. I am talking here regarding the fact that we got the same medal that we won last year. I wanted a medal of another color.”

And he added, “I got Mason Mount’s shirt, but it’s not for me, it’s for my daughter. I asked him for it and he agreed.”

He concluded: “Hansi Flick (former Bayern coach) was good to me last year, but Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea coach) is on another level, not because of what he said to me but he turned towards me, these people did a search and knew who I am.”
