A complaint for an embezzlement that exceeds $40,000 from a casino in a hotel in the County was filed during the followingnoon of today, Tuesday, reported the Press Office of the Police Bureau.
At around 2:50 pm, policemen attached to the Loíza Street Precinct investigated the complaint, since, out of a total of 14 bags of money that were supposed to have been delivered to a valuables transportation company, the plaintiff alleged that he realized when he left the inn that he was only 13 and reported that he was missing a bag that contained the amount of $41,126.71.
The investigation was referred to the Bank Robbery and Fraud Division of Financial Institutions and Cooperatives.
