They find the remains of the last disappeared miner in Abriaquí

The rescue organizations found during the morning of this Monday the mortal remains ofhe last miner still reported missing in Abriaquí, following the sudden increase that left a balance of 14 people dead.

According to the authorities, the remains of this last victim were identified as those of Jesus Antonio Cruz Hidalgoof whom there was no news since the night of last Wednesday, April 5.

As witnesses to the emergency reconstructed, following the heavy rains that affected that municipality that day, a wave of more than four meters swept away a mining camp that was located in the La Antigua sidewalk.

In addition to this emergency, the Antioquia Risk Management Administrative Department (Dagran) had reported that in the municipality of Uramita, also in the Western Antioquia subregion, the rains caused the collapse of 14 houses.

During the morning of this Monday, only in Abriaquí, the anxiety returned due to several mass movements located in the Santa Teresa village.
