The scientists stated that it is believed that Guemesia ochoai It is a close relative of the family of dinosaurs called Abelisauridwhich lived in Europe, Africa, South America, and India about 66 million years ago.
Stating that the skull of Guemesia ochoai, which belongs to the family of the armless, is the only specimen of this type found in northwestern Argentina, the paleontologists pointed out that the skull of this new species is quite small.
Paleontologist Anjali Goswami, one of the authors of the article, said that the new dinosaur species is quite unusual and said that they hope to find more specimens of Guemesia ochoai and its relatives as they continue their research.
