The Specialized Prosecutor for Massive Events of the City of Buenos Aires extended the closure of the Sívori tribune of the River stadium for 24 hours to continue with the investigation of the case of the fan who died last Saturday in the match once morest Defensa y Justicia, for the Professional League.

Last Saturday, a fan of the club, identified as Paul Serrano, fell from the Sívori Alta tribune and died instantly. Hours following the tragic event, the club issued a statement stating that the fan “jumped into the void” and that no scenes of violence were recorded.
