They exhibit work environment in Oxxo; “one of the worst jobs”

  • Through Twitter, a user exhibits the work environment that, he assures, is lived in Oxxo.

  • According to what you mention, in this company there is no order or cleanliness.

  • The brand, through its Community Manager, seems to have taken the first step to get closer to the user.

A little thread on Twitter calls into question the work environment in Oxxo, considered by the user as “one of the worst jobs”.

Imagining life today without social networks seems, in addition to being impossible, an act outside of reality, since these have practically become one more limb of the human body.

Today, people have their entire life, almost literally, on each of the platforms they are registered on, be it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or others.

So much has been the rise of social networks that, according to official data, today we can talk regarding there are 4.9 billion users connected to the internet, of which around 4.5 billion have a social network.

And it is that, in reality, we are talking regarding spaces through which the user can share all kinds of experiences, from very personal and even intimate ones, to anecdotes with some companies, brands, musical or sporting events, among many others.

Tweets exhibit work environment in Oxxo

Something like this is what happens on Twitter, where users share their experiences in order to generate a conversation that, in some way, leads to a solution.

Last Friday, according to what can be read on the social network, One user shared his experience supposedly working at Oxxo, a place he qualifies as “one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had.”.

To do this, he wrote some tweets where he talks, from his perspective, why In Oxxo there is not a good work environment, they affirm that they do not have order or cleanliness, and that “it is not what they paint you in training”.

Of course, as happens in these cases where social networks are the center of the complaints, the brand decided to respond through its Community Manager, mentioning that they would begin to follow the case more closely.

However, the user’s tweets reflect an important part of people’s lives, which is the influence that a good work environment or a bad environment can generate.

According to a survey conducted by Love Mondays Between February and March 2019, there are at least three main reasons why Mexicans quit their jobs:

  • Salary dissatisfaction, with 24.3 percent.
  • Lack of growth opportunities, with 22.8 percent.
  • A bad work environment, with 13.1 percent.

In a way, if anything good or positive left the pandemic is the fact that, nowadays, people seem to be putting more emphasis on their own health, both physical and mental.

A few months ago the case of a former Domino’s employee went viral who, through a video published on TikTok, announced her resignation, because, as she mentioned, she was already “tired” of the mistreatment by her boss, as well as the poor working conditions to which she was subject .

Now, this only reflects the opinion of the consumer and the conversation that it generates in the digital pulse, so Merca 2.0 requested the position of the brand in order to tell both sides of the story; however, so far it has not been received. The note will be updated in case of a response.
