They dug a tunnel with a toothbrush.. Two prisoners escaped for a strange purpose

In a strange incident, two prisoners in the United States managed to escape from the prison by digging a small tunnel in one of its walls, using primitive tools such as toothbrushes.

Prisoners Arlie Nemo, 43, and John Garza, 37, escaped from a Virginia prison in order to eat pancakes at their favorite restaurant.

During the routine prisoner count, prison officials discovered the absence of the two inmates, which necessitated the start of a search for them for a period of 9 years.

According to reports, the two inmates found a weak spot in one of the prison walls, so they used improvised tools such as toothbrushes and metal pieces.

After breaking through two walls inside the prison, the two prisoners climbed the outer wall and escaped, and the two prisoners traveled 6.6 miles to reach Al-Manshoud Restaurant, where they ordered pancakes, before their arrest.

The authorities did not answer questions regarding how the prisoners managed to escape, as information related to the investigation.
