A dog fell this Friday on the tracks of the Caracas Metro, station Perez Bonalde, and public transport operations continued normally, as reported by several people who witnessed what happened. Citizens assured that the response of the corresponding personnel was that “it was not a priority.”

The journalist Delmiro de Barrio contacted some people who were at the time, and assured that they all agreed that the trains continued to run even with the animal under the rail. Fortunately, according to what users told him, the dog was not injured.

Unknown location

The canine, according to Metro Comunidad (a group of workers and former workers of the Caracas Metro), was rescued. However, they claimed to have no further information on the matter. “We must report that the dog was rescued alive, but we do not have the details of who, how, or the time,” the group said on Twitter.

In his opinion, the same method used with the fallen objects might have been applied. “The PIR-GEM-010 procedure might be applied. ‘Recovery of objects dropped on the road’, since, keeping the differences, it is a similar situation. In no case should a negative and derogatory response be given to the user’s complaint.”

So far, no official entity has ruled on what happened..
