Extrajudicial executions and abuse of power by the State security forces during Operation Thunder III, led by the government of Nicolás Maduro in Guárico, are denounced by the inhabitants of the entity.
Informants, on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, indicated that part of the murdered people were not linked to the Tren del Llano gang for which the police operation began.
extrajudicial executions
They assure that people were executed inside their homes or on the street. They denounce that the State security forces, including the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim), enter homes without having search warrants and make arrests.
“They enter the houses without having a warrant, they search the entire house as well as the cell phones. If there are people with a criminal record, whether or not they are linked to the Tren del Llano gang, they are executed. They are all being linked to the band and that is not the case. Officials act and then find out. They come to kill, “they indicated.
“They are without escape. When you go out to buy, you see them mounted in the patios, inside the houses. Yesterday they searched the houses and killed two. No one reports because they don’t know what to do. I am nervous for my children. One is in Tucupido (José Félix Rivas municipality) and cannot leave. The telephones check them,” said an inhabitant of the town of El Socorro.
They ask for help
The Organization of Relatives of Victims of Extrajudicial Executions (Orfavideh) confirmed the information in its account Twitter. “At this time, residents of the Guárico state, several small towns, are asking for help to stop these extrajudicial executions,” he said.
“They are killing their children. There is no death penalty here. If someone owes something, present it, do not take justice into their hands, “he added.
