The NGO denounced through its Twitter account, that the inhabitants were stripped of their belongings, crops and livestock.
They also reported that the inhabitants of the sector left a written record of what happened in Apure, by those they identified as Venezuelan military officials.
FundaRedes pointed out that “in armed conflicts the civilian population must be protected and their rights guaranteed, no more impunity in Apure.”
The NGO also denounced “arbitrary arrests of inhabitants of the area.”
