The chancellor returned to the public eye when a video went viral that shows that his pronunciation of the English language was somewhat rustyas he gave a speech in English before the Expo Dubai 2022 and he didn’t seem very comfortable with his words.

Regarding his poor English fluency, Cafiero argued: “I had a speech that was in Spanish and when I got there there was no simultaneous translation, so I did it in English because it was part of being humble and in some way, also showing oneself as part of our diplomatic mission, which is not pleasing him to the pronouncement of those who broke the country”.
In response to the questions received, the chancellor clarified that all his meetings are held in Englishbecause he “studied” the language.
