They deliver 1,000 GB of evidence with testimonies against Juan Orlando Hernández

The first tests of the United States Attorney’s Office in the case of former President Juan Orlando Hernández, extradited for drug trafficking, have already been known by the legal body of the former president, defenders confirmed to OPSA.

The accusing party shared a terabit (1,000 GB of information) where testimonies of people who will be used by the Prosecutor’s Office as testimonies stand out, lawyers Raymond Colon and Daniel Pérez entrusted to this newspaper.

“It’s all conversations between the criminals themselves,” assured Hernández’s defenders, who mentioned that the testimonies must be validated at the hearing on September 28.

“The only thing that appears in the evidence provided is the desperation of the alleged witnesses to reach an agreement,” they added.

Colón and Pérez also mentioned that there is still no defined list of witnesses when the trial begins in January 2023.

They also reported that JOH is physically well in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, a place that has become his home since the end of April.
