Given the severe consequences caused by the extraordinary rainfall that affected the entire province during the month of June, the governor, Omar Gutiérrez, decreed a state of emergency and/or water, climate and agricultural disaster throughout the territory of the province for a period of time. one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.
The measure, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Province, seeks to address the negative impacts that heavy rains have caused in the agricultural sector and water infrastructure, as well as in the community in general.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, together with the General Secretariat and Public Services, are authorized to carry out contracts and acquisitions without limit of amount, with the objective of executing works and acquiring goods and services necessary to attend the emergency.
