The competition for the Crystal Ball, great emotions and hours of practice influenced the relationships between the dancers and the stars of each edition of “Dancing with the Stars”. Additionally, some dance styles are very passionate. It’s no wonder that there were many rumors regarding romances on the set of the program.
In many cases, however, the rumors turned out to be true. Many famous people gained love, long-term relationships and even family thanks to their adventure on the dance floor. One of the most famous couples of the show were undoubtedly Katarzyna Cichopek and Marcin Hakiel.

Kasia Cichopek and Marcin Hakiel won the Crystal Ball in 2005. It cannot be denied that their performances always made a great impression.
Shortly following participating in the program, they officially confirmed that they were a couple. They even had two children: son Adam and daughter Helena. Unfortunately, their marriage did not stand the test of time. In August 2022, following seventeen years together, they divorced. Currently, Katarzyna is settling into her life with Maciej Kurzajewski, while Marcin is in a happy relationship with Dominika.

In the same edition, Małgorzata Foremniak and Rafał Maserak became closer to each other. The age difference between Maserak, then 21, and Foremniak, who was on the verge of divorce, attracted a lot of media attention.
“I came across Rafał Maserak, two similar sensitivities, two similar madnesses met. I might be spontaneous in what I did. I might finally be myself,” said the excited star of “For Good and for Bad” in an interview with Gala years ago. However, over time, their feelings faded away.

The second edition of “Dancing with the Stars” is famous for its romances. Piotr Gąsowski and Anna Głogowska also became closer at that time. They had a turbulent relationship for over 10 years. Initially, they tried to be discreet, but the show’s viewers were alert and quickly noticed that the beautiful dancer and the actor had something more in common. In 2007, their daughter was born.
The couple’s relationship was difficult and went through many crises. Głogowska was deeply affected by the actor’s frequent departures and did not take well to his popularity, especially when other women were involved. She also felt that she had sacrificed her career to raise her daughter.
Ultimately, the feeling did not last. Gąsowski and Głogowska separated discreetly, away from the media.
The winners of the third edition of the dance show were Rafał Mroczek and Aneta Piotrowska. The actor fell in love with the beautiful dancer almost immediately.
“I came to the rehearsal and saw Aneta in an outfit that would make anyone weak in the legs. I mightn’t focus on learning to dance,” he admitted to “Gali” years ago. Then everything happened quickly, and they became a couple following just two weeks. Their relationship caused great emotions in the media, which in turn caused frustration and tension between the lovers. They were a couple for a year, and one of the reasons for their breakup was constant media interest.
In 2014, following a three-year break, “Dancing with the Stars” debuted on Polsat. During this edition, Klaudia Halejcio and Tomasz Barański, who remained a couple long following the program ended, fell in love. The real test of their feelings was the dancer’s cancer. It didn’t affect their feelings.
Unfortunately, they finally broke up following two years. Officially, they agreed that the biggest problem in their relationship was the lack of time.
