The State Electoral Institute of Hidalgo (IEEH) and the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX) in Hidalgo, have established a Collaboration Agreement with the main objective of implementing actions that contribute to the development of the political and democratic culture of Hidalgo citizens. .

The signing of this Agreement seeks to promote civic and democratic education in the state and contribute to the construction of an active citizenry committed to democracy.

During her intervention, Presidential Counselor María Magdalena González Escalona emphasized that the fundamental purpose of this synergy is to establish the general bases of support and cooperation for the implementation of a series of activities that encourage citizen participation in Hidalgo, mainly during the present Local Electoral Process.

For his part, Manuel Batres Campos, President of COPARMEX Hidalgo, highlighted the importance of actively collaborating with electoral institutions on matters that involve all sectors of society, for example, with the development of activities that encourage the contrast of ideas. and analysis to contribute to the construction of citizenship and consequently, strengthen democratic culture.
