The Netherlands Coast Guard and the Police of Aruba they captured eight Venezuelans who were traveling aboard a boat and tried to enter Aruba without documentation, this Saturday.
Journalist Jhonattam Petit reported via Twitter that the migrants were traveling on a boat called “My First Time” when authorities captured them.
According to the journalist’s information, the Venezuelans were transferred to the Guarda No Costa detention center for undocumented immigrants. For his part, the captain of the ship will be investigated for the crimes of human trafficking and smuggling.

Venezuelans detained in March in Aruba
A boat with 11 Venezuelan migrants on board was detained on the high seas last March by the authorities of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba, when they tried to enter that country illegally.
