The apprehended kidnapped the victim, who was raped by one of them.
Officials from the Investigative, Scientific, Penal and Criminalistics Corps (Cicpc) clarified the murder of an 11-year-old girl, who was raped and then died of suffocation due to strangulation.
The security forces arrested two men, who were taken into police custody as alleged perpetrators of the crime.
The duo, who are between the ages of 39 and 69, had already submitted an arrest request issued by the Sixth Control Court of the Miranda State Judicial District.
The suspects are accused of kidnapping the victim when she had gone to a warehouse near her home.
The director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, added that one of them “dealt a strong blow to the head” to the girl, for which the little girl was left unconscious.
Later, he moved her to the home of the other perpetrator. He sexually abused the minor, and then strangled her.
The body was removed from the house, along with the clothing, to be hidden until its discovery by the scientific police.
“The arrest of those involved, was generated in the adjacencies where the event occurred, and they were sent to the order of the Public Ministry,” Rico pointed out.
