They capture ‘levantón’ on video in the streets of the Tlalpan mayor’s office

On the night of Monday, April 1, a young man was allegedly kidnapped in the streets of the Tlalpan mayor’s office, Mexico City; According to the first reports, at least four individuals were involved in the “riot.”

According to journalist Antonio Nieto, the incident occurred specifically at the intersection of Maní and Chemax streets, in the Lomas de Padierna neighborhood in Tlalpan. Likewise, he shared a video that captured the moment in which four men attacked a person on the ground, with the intention of putting him into a vehicle parked on a public road.

In the video circulating on social networks, you can see how the individuals hit a young man, who apparently resisted being taken to the car. Although he struggles, the attackers manage to pick him up and place him inside a red vehicle, while several witnesses witness the scene, including passersby and customers of a nearby business.

It should be noted that, according to data provided by the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (CESNSP), until March 19, 2024, only one case of kidnapping has been reported in Mexico City this year.
