They capture false PNB for multiple scams

The defendant gave false information when paying for services such as food, so he was pretending to make some kind of mobile payment.

A commission of the Coordination of Investigations Against Organized Crime of the Municipal Delegation of El Paraíso, in Caracas, captured a 24-year-old man for usurping functions as an official and committing multiple scams.

The subject was specified due to the work of field experts, who verified that he presented himself as a member attached to the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) in premises and hotels in the capital.

It was known that the detainee requested a room in a hotel and canceled products and fast food with false information.

The defendant made, at the time of canceling a service, a mobile payment, which turned out to be false, reported Douglas Rico, director of the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc).

The citizen was taken into custody on Francisco Ustáriz avenue, when he was traveling in a Toyota Yaris. When carrying out the inspection of the vehicle, a ballistic protection vest was seized that had insignia alluding to the PNB.

The 18th Prosecutor of the Caracas Metropolitan Area is aware of the case, added Rico on his social networks.
