In less than a week, the Sarika Rodrik store in Las Condes suffered a second robbery. Individuals fired shots outside the premises, causing fear among diners at a neighboring restaurant.

A violent robbery was recorded this Wednesday followingnoon at the store Sarika Rodrik, located in Isidora Goyenechea, commune of Las Condes. The premises had been the victim of a millionaire robbery last Saturday.

In videos captured by witnesses, the diners of a neighboring restaurant are observed hiding under the tables, before the actions of a group of criminals who were mobilizing in a blue BMW vehicle.

At least five subjects participated in the crime and the record shows one of them fleeing with clothes in their hands.

According to information collected by Radio Bio Biothe subjects made at least two shots in the air to carry out the crime.

Prefect Julio Caro, head of the aforementioned unit, indicated that the first appraisal of what was stolen is $100 million and that the criminals fled to the north of the capital.

In addition, he pointed out that one of the owners had been consulted by WhatsApp to carry out clothing quotes and that the supposed clients would have assured that they would attend to see it. It is investigated if this has to do with the illicit.

The mayor of Las Condes, Daniela Penalozapointed out that as a municipality they will deliver all the images from security cameras to clarify this robbery and the one that occurred last Saturday.

Along with this, he called on the authorities to give clear signals to combat crime and support the work of the Carabineros, since the municipalities have few powers to combat crime.

Second robbery in less than five days

Last Saturday the store was the victim of a millionaire robbery, following, also in broad daylight, a group of approximately six people entered the premises and stole clothing and accessories.

On that occasion, the stolen species were valued at $400 million.

Twitter users reported the robbery and expressed their shock that it took place in the middle of lunch hour.
