Chihuahua.- A group of people belonging to Rescate y Defensa Animal, AC will carry out this Wednesday, May 4, a peaceful demonstration in front of the UACH Faculty of Medicine, in protest at the animal abuse that is practiced daily in its facilities during the calls laboratory “practices”, where they have to operate on live dogs.
The central reason for the complaint is Dr. Baca’s attitude so aggressive towards animals, since he has been seen, according to the complainant, mistreating live animals, as is the case of a puppy a few months old, who during practice was roughly whipped by this vet to explain what trauma is and then stabbed him to remove his organs.
There are several medical students who are scandalized by this totally dehumanized attitude when operating on animals without anesthesia, under the pretext that “they are going to die”.
It is for the defense of animals that the demonstrators will demand during the protest that student practices with live animals stop, since torture and mistreatment are evident.
In its complaint, the association states verbatim: “On Tuesday of this week, at the Faculty of Medicine, students are told that they would attend a practice to remove the spleen from the body of several puppies (5 that were taken from the kennel, completely healthy).
The idea was to do that surgery and for the puppies to live.
To help in practice there was a “veterinarian” present (I put him in quotes because he is a savage), among those 5 dogs there is a beige puppy (baby). The puppy was scared when he was on the plate WITHOUT SEDATION, and since the “vet” wouldn’t let him, he grabbed him by the neck and whipped him with brutal force on the plate, crushing him.
Then “the puppy was stabbed by the same veterinarian, and his organs were removed while the puppy was still alive. Who knows what else that vet would do to other dogs. Within an hour he came out and told them, “Do whatever you want, you’re going to die anyway.”
“The teacher who was carrying out this practice got angry, since several students refused to carry out (the practice) due to the savagery with which the dogs were treated by the veterinarian. The healthy dogs all died!”
Among the five puppies that were savagely slaughtered, the puppy had been diagnosed, according to the veterinarian Baca, with Papilloma (which is curable); another dog had vaginal prolapse (also curable).
“A nurse was the one who said that: “Dog that comes in should be put to sleep, since several times if they are saved, they have been put up for adoption.”
