“The eight teams of the circuit unanimously reached an agreement to give greater visibility to the challenge between Tiburones de La Guaira, current champion of the LVBP and the Caribbean Series, against Navegantes del Magallanes, at the Ciudad Universitaria Stadium. The rest of the games will continue on their scheduled date of October 12. That day Tiburones and Navegantes will face each other again, but at the José Bernardo Pérez Stadium in Valencia, Carabobo state, and which was scheduled for October 16. On October 12, the rest of the teams will make their season debut. In addition to the rescheduled Sharks-Navigators in Valencia, the games of this first round will be:
