A new case of theft from a bank was registered this Friday morning in the surroundings of the Aventura Shopping Center, in the Sevilla neighborhood of Medellín. This fact, due to the immediate reaction of the authorities, generated a crossfire in this central sector of the city.
The facts were recorded in the street 67 (Barranquilla) with the race 55in this sector of the northeast of the city and the authorities reported two people captured who would be involved in this criminal act.
A person who was in the area stated that “I was eating an empanada in a business when I started hearing a lot of shots From both sides. I went into the mall all of a sudden because I had to save myself.”
Although the witness indicated that he saw an injured person, the authorities, for the moment They did not confirm injured people in the middle of the crossfire, as well as it has not been established if the criminals stole money from the bank. It was ruled out that there were deceased people.
The bank was cordoned off by personnel from the Metropolitan Police while security cameras were analyzed of the bank, the shopping center and the area to establish if there are more criminals involved.
