A long time ago the Falklands veterans from San Francisco were trying to build their own headquarters and museum to meet. The funds were never enough, but now his dream began to come true with the beginning of the work.
The space, so important for the heroes of the Malvinas and also for collective memory, will be at Calle Perú 1350 and covers an area of 300 square meters. The administrative headquarters, bathrooms, kitchen and a room of 22 linear meters by almost 9 that will house the museum will be built on the site.
As for the execution period, it will be approximately 300 days and will have an investment of 75 million pesos that will not come out of your pocket but from the municipal coffers. This had been a promise from the mayor’s office that now began to materialize.
It should be noted that until two years ago that property was intended for the small square in honor of the ex-combatants, the monument was also there. Then, for the 40th anniversary, a new one was erected and it was decided to change the destination of this space.
