The Lebanese actress, Nelly Makdessi, was a guest with the media, Basma Wahba, on the Al-Arafa program broadcast on Al-Mehwar satellite channel, and revealed the secret of her failure to marry despite her 42 years of age.
In response to a question in this regard, the Lebanese actress, Nelly Makdessi, admitted that she evaded marriage every time she felt responsibilities approaching.
Nelly Makdissi said during her hosting of the “Al-Arafa” program presented by the media, Basma Wahba, on Al-Mehwar channel: My friends already look like Julia Roberts in the movie Runaway Bride, because I run away when I reach the serious stage of marriage preparations, and you can call it a knot.
And she added: I was raised in a house where I got all the pampering, love and safety from my father and my brother, and they are for me the example of a man who embraces his family properly.
And she continued, “There were certainly good relations in my life, but the picture that I knew in my home was not complete, and that’s why I act like a child every time and run away to the safety of my family.”
She continued: I do not suffer from a marriage complex, and when I meet my share and my second half, I will marry because I love my family and children.
Nelly Makdessi rejected the accusation of resorting to sexy clothes and daring looks in her photos and videos, in order to achieve rapid spread.
In response to a question: Did your absence from the artistic scene cause your competitions to reach a greater position than you, and to be forgotten by the public? She said: The measure of the artist’s presence is his works that remain in the audience’s memory no matter how much the artist is absent, with evidence that many have been absent from the scene for various reasons, and the audience still remembers them.
