In the ninth program presented by the journalist Youssef Al-Husseini on the first channel of the Egyptian TV, the Egyptian artist Khaled Al-Sawy was a guest.
In the episode, the artist was exposed to an embarrassing question regarding the reason for his delay and refusal to marry until the age of fifty, as he married only in 2014.
Egyptian artist Khaled El-Sawy said boldly and without shame, as is well-known in his personality, exposing his personal situation at the time: “The age of forty was a crisis for me, because I was not famous at the time, nor did I even have the money that would enable me to marry at this advanced age, at that age stage. I was shown the movie “The Yacoubian Building”.
He added, “I had a new challenge in my life, but I benefited from my friends who worked with me on stage.
And he concluded, “Until the age of 45, I had struggles, and I didn’t know that I was a rigid actor until following “The Yacoubian Building”, and it was my artistic breakthrough.”
