Controversial Enas El-Deghaidi (March 10, 1953) is an Egyptian female director and the first six Egyptian female directors to graduate from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1975.

Al-Deghaidi made her first movie in 1985, and it was called Excuse me, the law, starring Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Naglaa Fathi. It was controversial, not for sexual scenes, but for its topic, which was criticizing that the man is not prosecuted if he commits adultery in Egyptian law.

Recently, the Egyptian director, Enas El Degheidy, boldly and unabashedly revealed for the first time the reason for her separation from her husband, Nabil Moawad, and the ruin of her home.

When asked regarding the reason for the divorce, she indicated that her professional success was a reason for the divorce, in addition to the routine that dominated their relationship.

This came when director Enas Al Degheidy was a guest on the program “Kalam fi Hob”, which is presented by artist Yousra on MBC.

She also talked regarding the first gift from her husband… She said: “I succeeded and grew up, and I can’t see the little girl who can control her.

And she continued, “But I am not empty and the length of the day is with him, and the routine breaks the love, and love exists, but there is no love, and of course I cannot remove a noble love from my life, but it breaks and turns into something else.”

In the meeting, Al-Deghaidi indicated that the first gift she received from her ex-husband, Nabil, was strange, as he gave her a box of tissues for her car.

She commented jokingly: “I found him bringing a box with a gift ribbon on it. I thought they were diamonds, and in the end a box of tissues came out. However, I was very happy because I felt appreciation, and love makes a person tolerant and helpful, and he sees the world beautiful and reconciled with himself.”

It is worth noting that Enas Al Degheidy has moved away from directing since her last movie, “Majnoun Amira”, and turned to presenting programs, most notably the “Sheikh Al-Hara and Al-Dari” program, which gained wide fame and achieved tremendous success, as it hosted many artists in the Arab world, who revealed many From the secrets of their lives for the first time in its program.
