Sheikh Al Shaarawy spoke in a previous interview regarding his artistic and sports tendencies, and the talk was largely spontaneous, as we have always been accustomed to.
It is known that Al-Shaarawy has a balanced and fair opinion on art, and does not deal with it like most imams and sheikhs.
The Sheikh was asked regarding the artworks that he likes to see, and he said: “What my children say to me is good and there are no violations, no dance scenes or nudity. Watching it is normal, but there are things like that one is married and goes to sit next to one on the bed. This is empty talk.”
Imam Al-Shaarawy added: “I love the polite joke that does not have a lack of literature. I simplify Adel Imam in practicing things and I love to watch him because he makes me laugh and I love his way of telling the joke.”
Al-Shaarawy expressed his sporting inclinations and said: “I encourage Al-Ahly, but I don’t like the ball, I am satisfied with my children only.”
