The Egyptian actress Ghada Nafeh, the daughter of the late artists Magda Al-Sabahi and Ihab Nafie, recounted the scenes of a strange incident that happened to her with her husband on her wedding night.
She explained during a previous interview on the “With You” program, broadcast on CBC, and presented by the media, “Mona El-Shazly”, that she was linked to her mother in such a strong way that she lived at home with her mother, and did not leave her for a moment to travel or spend a honeymoon.
She confirmed that her mother was afraid of her husband because he was an Iraqi, saying: “She was afraid that he would take me and travel to Iraq, but by God, I have never been on her for a day so much that I cried on the night of the wedding, and my husband took me and Danny to my mother.”
Ghada talked regarding the scenes of her parents’ relationship before and following the separation. During the meeting, for the first time, clips from her wedding, which took place regarding 20 years ago, were shown, in the presence of a large number of stars of art and society.
Ghada confirmed that her mother kept the tape of the wedding ceremony until her death, saying: “By the way, I am the first time I see joy with you. I saw you from the time I got married 20 years ago, Mama was hiding it so that no one sees it, and no one puts it on the Internet.”
The Egyptian actress, Magda Al-Sabahi, passed away in January 2020 at the age of 89, following a long absence from the cinema and the lights.
