After the overturning of a Red Arrow Line bus on the Mexico-Toluca highway at the height of La Marquesa, on April 6, with a balance of 3 deaths and 35 injured, relatives of the victims demanded that the company to take responsibility for this incident.

Almost 48 hours following the tragedy, and due to the lack of attention from the alleged perpetrators, relatives blocked Paseo Tollocan in the municipality of Toluca, outside the Regional General Hospital 220 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).

This Sunday, according to their version, the Hotline contacted the injured who are still in various hospitals in the State of Mexico.

“We want the Line to be 100 percent responsible until the treatments and therapies are finished, that they respond for what their travel insurance is,” said Cansino Jiménez.

That Thursday, April 6, the passengers left in this unit, from the Observatory Terminal in Mexico City, to go to the Chalma Sanctuary in the municipality of Ocuilan. “They were going to return this Sunday, but the accident happened,” added Cansino.

According to the entity’s Secretary of Health, as of Friday, April 7, of the 35 injured, 19 required medical attention in hospitals, of which only 9 had been discharged.
