They arrested a renowned lawyer in San Isidro accused of sexually abusing his daughters

The renowned lawyer Guillermo Martin Moncayo Von Hase was arrested this Wednesday, at his home in the town of Martínez, accused of sexually abusing his two minor daughterswho told what happened to his mother and ex-partner of the lawyer, who ended up filing the complaint on January 31 at the San Isidro District Directorate.

According to what was reported by the Police, the latest events would have occurred in two periods: in 2020, when Moncayo Von Hase took them on vacation and abused one of their daughters, and previously, in 2018, during scheduled visits to his home, he would have done the same with another. In the conversation with her daughters, the mother Elcha Triep discovered that the abuse was repeated.

One of the victims is 17 years old and has Down syndrome, while the other, 19, is in the United States. Mother and daughter agreed to file the complaint simultaneously. “The oldest wanted to do it for several years but was afraid and Triep did it on behalf of Fernanda, her disabled daughter,” she tells Clarion the prosecutor of San Isidro Marcelo Fuenzalida, in charge of the investigation.

The abuses would have started much earlier and would have been committed between 2009 and 2019, that is, from 4 and 6 years to 14 and 16 of the victims. “After so many years the abuses would have been committed in different homes in the north and one of those that is recorded is the house of the paternal grandfather of the minors at the time.”

Von Hase and Triep were married until 2014. After the separation, they informally arranged for the lawyer to see their daughters three times a week. He first moved to Boulogne, where he rented an apartment, and years later moved to San Fernando, the address where he was arrested.

Fuenzalida affirms that, due to procedural times, it will take 30 days to request preventive detention for a crime with penalties ranging from 8 to 20 years.

A professional from the Victim Assistance Center held interviews with the victims and in relation to the minor of them determined that “He is not in a position to testify in Camara Gesell.” As for the older sister who lives in New York, “three psychologists have already declared and added important testimonies for the cause.”

The eldest daughter, who was a victim and witness to the abuse of her sister with down syndrome, had three suicide attempts. The psychologists, specialists in trauma, who treated her, saw that following intense work she was already in a state of mind to be able to file a complaint,” explains Fuenzalida.

About the girl with Down syndrome, “she understood -because of her condition- that her father’s abuse was from someone loving, without knowing that it was a crime.” A psychologist specializing in domestic sexual abuse who treated her indicated that she saw in the minor “different signs and psychological sequelae compatible with sexual abuse and concluded that she had been sexually abused by her father.”

The professional tried for the year 2020, following a vacation in Córdoba, to cut off contact with her father “because she with her disability never understood that he did horrible things to her. To this day, she still does not understand that her father abused her, and she wanted to see him, so she agreed to see him, but always accompanied.

Von Hase is 55 years old and has two other children -a boy and a girl-, who until now have not filed any complaint regarding abuse. In fact, they were consulted by the prosecution if they were aware of the abuses, but They stated that they were completely unaware of them.

After specifying the pertinent intelligence tasks, in addition to the interviews with the eldest of the daughters virtually and Triep, her mother, the guarantor judge ordered the capture of the accused, which took place at Von Hase’s home, in Martínez.

Von Hase’s reaction to the arrest? “Surprised I wasn’t, I’d say something would know because according to Carolina, the eldest, she confronted the father notifying him that she was going to report him. Perhaps the defendant thought he would not. He denied the allegations once he was arrested.”
