Officials from the Animal Protection Office of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps arrested a man in Nueva Esparta state on Wednesday for alleged bestiality.

“Justice was done for Silvana and for all the dogs that were sexually abused by the aberrated, sick and alcoholic Cruz María Correa, better known in the town of San Antonio as Puchi,” said Xuxa Jane Ibarra, councilor of the García municipality, in the Margarita Island.

The medical report noted that Silvana, a 7-year-old dog, presented, among other things, bloody vaginal discharge, evolution of two days, pale mucous membranes, moderate dehydration. She further indicated that a reactive uterus, endometritis and endometrial hyperplasia with slight volume of anechoic fluid were found.
