It was the young man’s mother who notified the 911 emergency line and troops police from the second police station began the search. Minutes later, the vehicle was seen on streets 3 and 148, in Punta Lara, Ensenada.
Thus, the police managed to intercept the van, arrested its occupants -all relatives to each other- and rescued the kidnapped minor, who was in good health.
The detainees were identified as Isaías Quispe Moran (46), Patricia Sánchez Huaman (44), Pablo Sánchez Sanguaran (31) and two adolescents aged 16 and 17.
Sources of the investigation detailed that The family denied having kidnapped the boy for a ransom and specified that it was for the purpose of “recovering a cell phone that a cousin of the boy would have stolen”.
The spokesmen reported that a case had been initiated for “illegal deprivation of liberty aggravated by being the victim of a minor.”
