They arrest Venezuelans who were dedicated to human trafficking

Two Venezuelan women wanted in Mexico for alleged human trafficking and sexual exploitation were arrested in Miami-Dade County and turned over to Mexican authorities after a judge ordered their expulsion from the United States, reported the Office of Detention and Deportation Operations (ERO). ) of Miami.

ERO of Miami from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE), identified the detainees as Arianny Paola Vega Escalona, ​​24, and Yubisay Delimar Sandoval Sequera, 32.

Both were arrested in the City of Homestead by ERO agents on April 5, 2022 and an Immigration judge ordered the removal of Vega Escalona on December 7 and Sandoval Sequera on December 12.

The detainees were transferred via Miami International Airport to Harlingen, Texas, where ERO agents turned them over on December 28 to Mexican authorities through the Brownsville port of entry.

“The return of these two fugitives to Mexico is an excellent example of how ICE works closely with our international law enforcement partners to identify, locate, and deport non-citizens who are wanted for allegedly committing crimes,” he said. Ripa noted that “ICE prioritizes the arrest and removal of non-citizen fugitives. As a result, our communities are safer and more secure.”

ERO Miami coordinated the deportation of Vega Escalona and Sandoval Sequera with the US ICE Attaché’s office in Mexico and the Mexican National Police.
