In “Traditional customs – Cam unique” also shows that the country of Qin has a character named Do Mon Cao. It can be said that the Tu Mon family really existed in Chinese history.
Legend has it that, during the Han Dynasty, there was an official named Tu Mon, but following offending the Emperor, this mandarin was demoted to a commoner. To continue living, he had to work as a butcher.
Because of the business mind, the butcher shop is growing, from a small shop to a big flea market. Nowadays, Tu Mon is also the name of a famous meat market in China.
However, because people with the surname Tu Mon were very few, they might not develop into a large family. According to historical development, the descendants of Tu Mon felt that this family name was too fishy (the word “tu” in Chinese means slaughter and slaughter), so they changed it to another family name. Later, the Tu Mon family also gradually disappeared.

The surname Le is a special case in the Chinese surname system. The script of this family is a combination of 3 sets of “dao” (刕 has the pronunciation /li/), converted to Sino-Vietnamese sound is Le, different from the Le family (黎) that we often hear.
In the book “Bach Gia Tinh” there is no record of the Le family having 3 sets of “knife”, but “Thien Gia Tinh” does.
Accordingly, according to legend, the Le family originates from the Dao family. Initially, a man named Dao Quy had many enemies in the country of Thuc, so his descendants were extremely afraid of retaliation. There is no other way, the descendants can only change the Dao family name to the Le family name to avoid the consequences of killing their descendants.
But, the enemy of Kieu Quy never came, so the grudges also faded over the years. In the end, the Le family name was once once more changed to the Dao family name, from which the Le surname also disappeared. Although it was only for a short time, the Le surname really did exist.

At that time, Emperor Wu’s eighth son, Tieu Ky, failed to compete for the throne with Crown Prince Tieu Dich, then was beheaded in the gorge. After ascending the throne, Tieu Dich gave the Tieu Ky family the name Thao Thiet. In fact, this is a punishment of Tieu Dich for Tieu Ky, so that descendants will later bear the blame for the mistakes of their ancestors.

Legend has it that because of his dedication to solving the flood in the Yellow River, he did not return home for a very long time. Just got married, said goodbye to his wife to go to do big things.
During the time of water treatment, he passed by his house three times but never visited his family. He missed the moment when his wife gave birth to a child, and not long following he heard his wife talking to the child as he passed in front of the house.
