The emergency services of Cantabria looking for a canoeist missing this morning in the Deva River, in the area between La Hermida and Urdón, who was carrying out, together with another person, the river basin descent in two inflatable kayaks.
Apparently, as indicated by 112 in a statement, the missing person has suffered a accident and shortly following the trail has been lost.
Their colleague has reported what happened to another person who was passing through the area who called, following 10:00 am, the Cantabria Emergency Attention Center.
In the search operation in this area of the Hermida Gorge Coordinated by the General Directorate of the Interior, the 112 helicopter and another aircraft from the Civil Guard, Civil Protection, firefighters and GREIM personnel participate, which will be joined by Red Cross underwater and logistics teams.
