They approve additional credit for Bs 43,533,818,098 for public administration workers

The 2020 National Assembly (AN) approved a additional credit to the budget of expenses of the organisms ordering commitments and payments of the national public administration for Bs 43.533.818.098.

When presenting the additional credit, the deputy (PSUV) Fernando Bastidas indicated that 31% of the resources will be directed to honor commitments with workers in the sectors of education y Health Faced with the budgetary insufficiency that he attributed to the destabilization of the economy national.

“Despite the process of stabilization of the main indicators of the economy, speculative factors attack to threaten the purchasing power of the Venezuelan people and the economic stability achieved, that is why this additional credit is proposed to defend the workers,” said the parliamentarian. during the regular session of this December 15.

The Democratic Alliance, in the voice of the deputy, Giovanni Blanco, supported the approval of the resources and voted for similar resources to be authorized for workers dependent on regional and municipal governments.

BCV budget

During the last ordinary session of the second session of 2022, the AN with a majority of Chavismo also approved the Budget of Operating Income and Expenses of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

Deputy (PSUV) Michel Duque specified that the authorized budget for the issuing entity reaches Bs 6,477 million directed to the growth and strengthening of the organism.

“In recent years we have seen how the BCV has been the main target of the cruelest attacks by the empire and its allies in this country, the unilateral coercive measures and the brutal economic blockade that they have imposed on us, but it has come out on top. These resources will be used for the growth and strengthening of this institution so that in 2023 it will provide us with a robust and unbreakable economy,” said the Chavismo legislator.

He also stressed that the BCV continues “the fight” to bring 32 tons of oro that they are still repressed in England due to international sanctions and because said government recognizes Juan Guaidó and not Nicolás Maduro as president of Venezuela.

By endorsing the budget of the issuing entity, the representative of the Democratic Alliance, Jose Gregorio Correa urged the opposition grouped in the Unitary Platform to put an end to the withholding of gold, in accordance with the dialogue in Mexico, by sending a letter to the English Judiciary in which it recognized that the BCV is one (the one dominated by Miraflores).

He also said that the indebtedness calculated for 2023 in the law sanctioned this December 15 by Bs 40.047.461.755 would be less if other assets of the Republic abroad such as Citgo were rescued.
