The regional governor, Óscar Crisóstomo, explained that “the Lag Zone is a territory where we have put a lot of effort so that they can advance and this program reinforces our capacity and will to grow for the region. This initiative will allow each entrepreneur to benefit from nearly $6 million.”

The authority recalled that the Regional Government has just approved $4.7 billion that will benefit approximately 1,370 small regional businesses that will be able to enhance economic recovery from different axes.

For his part, the Minister of Economy, Erick Solo de Zaldívar, highlighted that promoting regional productivity is precisely one of the main challenges of his portfolio in the region, promoting the creation of new spaces for competitiveness.

“The Crece program emerges as a tool that allows entrepreneurship to become widespread and strengthened, giving growth opportunities to companies in the region, new business alternatives and the creation of networks, so that they can strengthen their relationship with clients, improve products and thus contribute to regional economic development,” he said.

The Seremi stressed that “we have found a very good ally in Gore and the regional advisors.”

Meanwhile, the regional director of Sercotec, Pedro Elissetche, highlighted the importance of the Regional Government’s contribution in strengthening the Rezago Crece program, which is why he invited small companies to apply with their best business ideas.

“Micro and small businesses can apply that have first-category initiation of activities before the SII and with minimum sales of 50 UF (regarding $1,850,000), which is less than what is asked of them in the regular Sercotec programs,” he said. , adding that the development of the program also includes field workshops that will allow interested parties to clear up doubts and obtain more information in this regard.
