They agree to extend the drinking water network that will benefit families in Misiones neighborhoods

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Sanitary Services Company of Paraguay (Essap) signed an agreement with the Government of Misiones and the Municipality of San Juan Bautista, for the extension of drinking water that will directly benefit the Costa Centro 1, 2 and 3 neighborhoods, impacting hundreds of families in the area.

The agreement was formalized by the president of Essap, Luis Fernando Bernal; the governor of Misiones, Richard Ramírez and the municipal mayor of San Juan Bautista, José Luis Benítez.

This agreement establishes that the state water company will be in charge of the extension of the drinking water distribution network; provision and installation of pipes, valves, accessories and supervision of the work, guaranteeing its execution in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Home connections will be made once potential users submit the corresponding applications and meet the necessary requirements.

The governor of Misiones highlighted the commitment to the community, with a contribution of 1,200 meters of pipes for the expansion of the network and will assume the excavation and covering of ditches with machinery and specialized personnel.

For its part, the Municipality of San Juan Bautista committed to providing support personnel for the laying of pipes and washed sand, essential to protect the underground facilities.

During the event, the authorities reaffirmed the importance of this joint effort to guarantee access to quality drinking water.

With this alliance, it is expected that hundreds of families in the Costa Centro 1, 2 and 3 neighborhoods of San Juan Bautista will soon be able to enjoy safe and continuous drinking water in their homes, significantly improving their quality of life.
