This morning families of the School No. 300 in San Isidro cut Route 151 and 69 once more. The educational community denounces that the building of the institution needs works and that Education did not carry them out. Although yesterday it was agreed to continue with the measures next week, This morning they decided to resume cutting.
The families seek to solve the conflict and that Education carry out the works so that the children can have a school in decent conditions. Yesterday, following carrying out the roadblock, they reported that they did not obtain solutions, so, Given the lack of commitment from the government, the families resumed the measure this morning.
As reported the outage started around 03:00 at the same points as the previous time, in the roundregarding of Route 151 in the Puma station and in Route 69 in San Isidro.
The families claimed that This time they will let the cars circulate every two hours, 15 minutes per hand. Now, at 10 a.m. they will lift the cut for 15 minutes to ease traffic congestion, then they will cut once more until 12.
Why the roadblock?
Parents complain regarding the deplorable state in which school number 300 is located. They assure that they are tired of the unfulfilled proposals and that they will keep the cut until the children can have a decent building.
Some of the claims are the lack of classrooms, heating, raised floors, walls and columns cracked with fungus, sewage overflows, lack of furniture, lack of bathroom for teaching staff, lack of kitchen to prepare school lunches and leaks in the roofs.
