Asunción, IP Agency.- In response to growing concern regarding recent cases of violence once morest women in the city of Coronel Oviedo, the Minister of Women, Cynthia Figueredo, addressed the issue with authorities in the department of Caaguazú.

She participated in a meeting at the Municipality of Coronel Oviedo, within the framework of a concerted effort to address the safety of women in the region.

The head of the Ministry of Women expressed her deep concern regarding the acts of violence once morest women in the city and maintained that it is absolutely essential that everything possible be done to protect women. She maintained that they are not only criminal and disgusting, but also deeply harmful to society and our nation.
