The prosecutor asks to expand, if in addition to the babysitter, the minor was handed over for safekeeping to other employees of the station, and if this is confirmed, to invite these persons to testify without trial to the police, who will be invited to carry out the investigation.
In the context of the same preliminary, the daycare’s operating status will also be investigated, even if all the prescribed specifications were met, and in this context the legal representatives will be asked to provide all the relevant documents.
In view of the above, the 26-year-old nursery school nurse was released – she had been arrested for exposing a minor – and her criminal treatment will be decided after the completion of the investigation, as well as any criminal responsibilities against other persons will be assessed.
According to what was made known by the Police, the incident happened on the morning of Monday 26/08, in Pylaia, Thessaloniki.
The nursery nurse, according to the case file, took the little girl and took her to an employment room. Without being noticed, however, the minor went out onto a paved street outside the daycare center, where he was finally spotted by the family’s nanny, who was expecting the child and handed over to his mother.
The 26-year-old reportedly claims that she received the minor, but did not have exclusive supervision over her, as there are approximately 30 other children in the same daycare center.
