Incidents took place on Thursday night (15/02/2024) in Thessaloniki outside the AUTH, between hooded men and police forces, following the completion of the march of collectives from the anti-authoritarian area.
About 200 people responded to the call and gathered in Kamara and marched in central Thessaloniki to express their opposition to the police’s stance on the student mobilization that took place earlier and their solidarity with those arrested.
Shortly following 10 pm on Thursday (15/02/2024), regarding 40 people wearing hoods came out of the AUTH campus on Ethnikis Amynis Street, threw stones and fired fireworks at police forces, who were near the scene.
MAT forces responded with stun grenades, pushing the hooded men towards the university campus.
