The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) proposed to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) at the meeting held in Agadir (Morocco) that the candidacy of the 2030 World Cup of Spain, Portugal and Morocco has more than eleven offices in Spain.

The RFEF defended before FIFA that Spain should have more than eleven venues for the World Cup, in order to respect the twelve candidates that have already submitted their documentation.

These include: Valenciawhich this confirmed the New Mestalla as a stage and its willingness to accept FIFA’s conditions to remain immersed in the process to host the 2030 World Cup.

In a virtual meeting with FIFA representatives, “focused on the process and progress of the candidacy”, reviews of “various aspects” were carried out.

The official application dossier must be submitted to the FIFA before the July 31stand until that date the final agreement will be sought for the distribution of venues between the three countries, with Spain’s intention to have twelve venues, without it having been approved by Moroccowhich would have six, and Portugal, which would have three.
