Egyptian artist Tawfiq Abdel Hamid and Reham Al-Hajjaj
A state of controversy raised by the Egyptian artist Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, who blew up a big surprise before the end of the month of Ramadan, when he suddenly announced his retirement from art.
Retirement came following nearly 12 years he spent away from business, amid a frequent question to the public regarding the reasons for his departure, but he returned in the month of Ramadan through the series “Yoturn” accompanied by artist Reham Hajjaj.
The Egyptian actor’s decision to retire made some wonder if there was a crisis between him and Reham Hajjaj, which he insisted on denying, indicating that he considers her like his daughter.
The Egyptian artist demanded that everyone respect his desire and that he does not wish to conduct any interviews or talks to justify his decision and talk regarding it, especially since it is related to his health condition.
With the end of the series, Abdel Hamid returned to raise the controversy once more following he announced that his decision to retire is subject to reversal, but the matter is subject to two conditions, the first of which is the improvement of his health.
As for the second matter, it is the mistakes of others, which he described as debatable, but the matter is not done in public, especially since they are in the artistic community more like a single family and therefore their mistakes are not discussed on the side of the road.
These words caused a stir once more regarding the real reasons for the actor’s decision to retire, and raised curiosity to know what is meant by “others’ mistakes.”
And once once more, Abdul Hamid called on everyone to respect his desire to remain silent and not to have any interventions or dialogues regarding the matter. He congratulated everyone on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
