Today is a day that will generate chaos in the circulation on the routes of the Alto Valle. This morning, workers from the Pollolin company approached the highway bridge that connects Río Negro and Neuquén, interrupting traffic. Later, the social movements of the Darío Santillán Front will join and the situation will worsen for those who travel through the region. From RÍO NEGRO we tell you what are the alternative ways to circulate between the two provinces.
The morning began with some complications in the transit on Route 22, at the height of the highway bridge that connects Cipolletti and Neuquén, due to the protest of the workers of the Pollolin firm.
At the Third Bridge, there are also delays due to intermittent cuts, which the protesters take advantage of to talk to the drivers. Although the traffic disruption is expected to be resolved, there are some options to avoid protests.
In this sense, those people who need to travel between the two provinces can take alternative paths to Route 22 and thus avoid complications. One of the alternatives is the Centenario-Cinco Saltos bridge, since it will be free to traffic.
On Route 7, at the height of Centenario, you will have to take Acceso Jaime de Nevares street, which connects with the interprovincial bridge that unites the two provinces, towards Cinco Saltos. OROnce you cross the bridge, take Route 151 to Cipolletti.
The other alternative is to go through the Ballester Dam Bridge, which is also a option available. Once at the detour, you go through the bridge that is over the Neuquén river until you reach the roundregarding of Route 151 and there you will be able to connect once more with Route 22, in Cipolletti.
Those are the alternatives to move from one province to another, but We must have patiencesince those roads tend to be congested.
